Level of parent involvement for each level

Level 1 (independent)

Parents are heavily involved in their child’s education since it is a self-paced program without live instruction. Our administration team will track student’s progress and touch base with the family about staying on track but families are expected to be more involved in supporting the child if they are struggling with a concept. This works great for very independent and motivated learners.

Level 2 (checkins)

Parents are involved still but on a lighter scale since a teacher will be working with a child for two hours each week to check in on their progress and help answer any questions on concepts they struggle to understand. Our check-in option is great for students who like working independently but need a bit of support from a teacher.

Level 3 (partial support)

Parents are not expected to be involved in the instruction but they might need to make sure their child is completing the work they are supposed to do independently. A teacher will work with the child four hours per week to work through the challenging concepts so parents are not as involved in this category.

Level 4 (full support)

Parents are very hands off with this program because the child is meeting with a tutor six hours per week. We provide all the core instruction and there is no direct oversight needed by the parents. This works great for students who benefit from a good amount of one-on-one instruction.

Courses begin in August

Courses begin on August 31st, and completing these steps early ensures your child is ready to start on time with their teacher and curriculum fully prepared. For families choosing to do live instruction, the first students enrolled will get their first choice of time slots, and later in the year, students will need to work within the time slots that are available.

How it Works

Families can choose the learning style that fits them best. Students may work self-paced or meet with a private teacher for 2, 4, or 6 hours each week. Teachers guide students through lessons, answer questions, and help with difficult concepts.
Students follow weekly due dates but are free to work ahead when they’re ready. Live instruction takes place Monday–Thursday, giving families a true four-day school week. Each family sets a consistent schedule with their tutor that fits their home rhythm.
Most students spend 2–3 hours per day on schoolwork, depending on their pace. Some assignments will be completed outside of lesson time. Throughout the year, our teachers monitor progress closely so families
