Thrive Online Academy is an accredited K-12 online Christian School. We give families the flexibility of homeschooling with the structure, curriculum, and teacher support of a Christian school.

How It Works?
Families can choose the learning style that fits them best. Students may work independently or meet with a private teacher for 2, 4, or 6 hours each week. Teachers guide students through lessons, answer questions, and help with difficult concepts.
Students follow weekly due dates but are free to work ahead when they’re ready. Live instruction takes place Monday–Thursday, giving families a true four-day school week. Each family sets a consistent schedule with their teacher that fits their home rhythm.
Most students spend 2–3 hours per day on schoolwork, depending on their pace. Some assignments will be completed outside of lesson time. Throughout the year, our teachers monitor progress closely so families can feel well supported in their child’s academics.
We also strive to maintain a healthy balance between online and offline learning. Estimated weekly learning time (including live classes and digital lessons) is approximately
- 4–6 hours for kindergarten
- 4–10 hours for Grades 1–2
- 6–15 hours for Grades 3–8
- 10-18 hours for Grades 9-12
K-2 students engage in offline activities such as reading, handwriting, workbook assignments, projects, hands-on learning, and independent practice.

How to Enroll
Complete the Application Form
Fill out our online form to provide basic information about your student and family. Submit a $150 application fee to begin the enrollment process.
Family Interview
Participate in a live interview with our administrative team to discuss your child’s needs, learning style, and academic goals. We require both parents (or guardians) to be present with their child during the interview.
Enroll Your Child
Once the interview is complete, families fill out the enrollment contract and sign the student handbook. At this stage, the $500 enrollment fee is paid, which secures your child’s placement and holds their slot with their teacher.

Enrollment Accepted for the entire year
Courses begin on August 31st, and completing these steps early enables you to have first pick of your preferred teacher and enables you to sign up for your favorite clubs. For families choosing to do live instruction, the first students enrolled will get their first choice of time slots, and later in the year, students will need to work within the time slots that are available. We accept students throughout the entire year, so submit your application to start the enrollment process!
